Slow wave and truly rainbow trapping in a one-way terahertz waveguide

چکیده

Slowing down or even trapping electromagnetic (EM) waves attract researchers’ attention for its potential applications in energy storage, optical signal processing and nonlinearity enhancement. However, conventional trapping, fact, is not truly because of the existence strong coupling effects reflections. In this paper, a novel metal-semiconductor-semiconductor-metal (MSSM) heterostructure presented, rainbow terahertz demonstrated based on tapered MSSM structure. More importantly, functional devices such as buffer, switch filter are achieved one single structure theory. Owing to property one-way propagation, these new types can be high performance expected used integrated circuits.
